Hong Kong Observatory & Senior Citizen Home Safety Association

2nd“Sky of Silver Age”Weather Photo and Time-lapse Video Competition

Over the years, the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) has been providing weather information to enhance elderly care services, including the provision of weather information for the senior citizens through the Observatory’s Weather Information for Senior Citizen web page.  Serving the elderly for more than 20 years, the Senior Citizen Home Safety Association (SCHSA) enhances the living quality of the elderly in the community through the use of technology.  Apart from the well-known “Call and Care Services”, SCHSA organized different types of activities to provide a joyful and fruitful life for the elderly.

HKO and SCHSA jointly organize the “Sky of Silver Age II” Weather Photo and Time-lapse Video Competition.  The category of time lapse video is newly introduced this year, with the objective of engaging senior citizens in the community and encouraging them to appreciate and capture their own sky in an innovative way.
