Most school kids in Hong Kong grow up living with advanced technology in a well-off environment, knowing very little about the disadvantaged in society. In order to let our children to understand the life of elderly people in Hong Kong and foster a caring heart for the aged, the SCHSA has been working with schools to promote this message to the students.
Teachers and students can make donations to support our work directly, or physically help us to organise various fund-raising or promotional activities. For example:
Invite the SCHSA to give talks and seminars to your school about the general situation of the elderly in Hong Kong, our PE Link Service and the Elder Ring Hotline Service
Organise charity sale activities to raise funds for us
Display our posters/ leaflets / donation boxes in your school
